Traction, battery, assembly

The assembly was more than an hour mainly due to the not very defined instruction that seem to be generic nor was the associated hardware (screws) well defined on their placement less some general pictures that took some trial and error to install. So far the battery has lasted the hour long time frame and then some but will see over time how long they will last. Traction is as expected for plastic tires on grass hills less minor slopes where continued pushing is needed to get the unit moving. There must have been some improvement or adapters made by Peg Perego to address this aspect considering all the various ride on toys that they make. Will look to see what is out there but most likely will end up making slip on or other type device to enhance this.

All looks and no substance

Would not purchase again, especially at this price point. Takes considerable time to charge the battery (10+ hours), but lasts only 1-2 hours maximum. The tailgate opens every time the kids hit even the smallest bump. And the location of the battery makes it very difficult to charge. There is no easy way to access the battery without having to remove it. Buy Power Wheels.

Missing parts, received one that had already been opened and it did not have all the parts.

AVOID THIS - Looks so awesome but is terrible

The instructions may be the worst instructions I have ever seen. And a handful of parts were just missing. This is honestly a terrible “fail” for peg perego. I thought I would buy American and avoid the cheaper Chinese ones. But this is terrible. I bought it today, assembled half of it this evening, and will be returning it tomorrow. Please avoid this product.

Very nice electric truck. But terrible directions.

Once built, the vehicle is very very nice. However, be advised that the instructions are absolutely horrendous Directions. the pictures are so zoomed in sometimes you have no idea what they are picturing also the Way they identify the screws makes you make educated guesses as to which ones go where. Just involves an awful lot of troubleshooting to figure out what goes where.
