Q: It says maximum operating temperature is 86°F... Is that correct? Hummingbirds are around in the southern US when temps climb to much hotter than 86°F. Or is this referring to the water temp?

This fountain works very well and looks very good. I was worried that it would look cheap when I was placing the order and was happy that it did not. I was looking for a fountain to have on or front porch and this had been great for that.

Beautiful Outdoor 3-Tier Jar Waterfall Fountain that adds a touch of elegance to any yard! This fountain combo has an Antique looking vintage feel, perfect size, not bulky and lightweight. So easy to install, simple manual instruction to follow. I placed mine on my patio and fits perfect by my plants and so soothing to listens to. All you do is fill water into jar, place water pump into jar and plug it into a outlet plug and your ready to listen to soothing water tranquility in your own backyard, front yards or patio.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Great centerpiece

The Outdoor 3-tier waterfall fountain is so soothing and makes for a great centerpiece. I have it installed on my patio and have gotten so many compliments on it. First of all, it's extremely easy to install. There is nothing to build; you just put together some of the bigger pieces and it's good to go. The instructions are also very clear so there isn't any way to mess it up. Assembly takes 5 minutes and then add water, plug it in and it's ready.
I also love the design. The 3 pots adds a zen like quality and the color allows it to go with any decor. It's made of resin so it's lighter than I expected, which is a good thing because it's not difficult to move. However, it does still have some weight to it so a light breeze isn't blowing it over anytime soon. It's made to look like clay pots so it will work with a rustic design or a modern design. Mine is situated right by our patio furniture so it adds great ambiance when we're sitting outside in the evenings. The sound of the water is soothing and isn't very loud.
Some suggestions for improving the product might be to add optional lights; we had it on during a dinner party and it would have looked amazing at dusk if there were some lights in the pots. I will also note that there was some water splatter around the fountain. Since I used it outside, this didn't matter, but indoors, you might want to keep that in mind depending on high traffic areas/flooring. That being said, it was exactly as described and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classy fountain for indoor or outdoor use.
