Paws & Claws Chicken & Tuna Dinner Cat Food, 22 oz. Can is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from PAWS AND CLAWS CANNED FOOD Only large cans of cat food I can find, so I buy it for the outdoor cats. It's not high quality, but they eat it. If I could buy a bigger can with higher quality I would, but I don't think they make it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy cats Great price and just right amount for the amount if kitties I take care of. Only one thing not all stores carry enough stock on hand. Having to go to multiple stores for merchandise. Over all happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The feral cats love it The feral cats love it I like those big cans of cat food, especially since we are feeding many feral cats in our area. They really love it. Our cats at home love it too, since they are getting it only once in a while for a treat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I support a small community of feral cats (TNR) and the large cans are perfect for twice a day feeding.

What is the texture (pate, bits, shredded)?

Asked by: Eugenia
This Paws & Claws cat food is a pate format. Within pet food there is "Loaf" style, which is the pate, and there are formed items (Shredded, Cuts, Slices etc.), and these are followed with the wording "in gravy". The loaf style will have a lower moisture percentage (Typically 78%), while the formed products in gravy, will have a higher moisture percentage (Typically 82%).

You have "fish" listed in the ingredients. What kind of fish? Also what is used for the "added color"? I have a cat with allergies and she cannot have tomato or whitefish.

Asked by: rsmith2574
The type of fish in this formula is cod, which is generally considered a whitefish. Besides fish, there is tuna in the ingredients as well. The added color includes red iron oxide and titanium dioxide.
