Not so Flimsy

This planter feels somewhat flimsy, but it is lightweight, powder coated for rust resistance and once you put dirt in it, it doesn’t seem flimsy at all. If you are worried about cutting your hands, do like I did; wear gloves. Is used zero tools. It is a little tricky when you first start putting it together if you don’t have the walls squared off. It’s similar to putting a bed frame together. You put the tab in the hole and slide it down to lock it. I could tell that mine had been returned because some of the holes were bent, but they were easy to straighten out. So, I guess they will give you a refund if you ask. I’m happy enough with mine that I have bought 4 as of today.

Nearly Impossible to Assemble

After a half hour of futility, assembling one corner only to have the previous corner pop back out, I gave up. There is no way the manufacturer tested the assembly of this product. If they had tested it, they would have said, "Nope, even gravity is working against us! Back to the drawing board!" I finally resorted to drilling and pop-riveting each corner as I assembled it. Tools required: Drill, drill bit, pop-riveter, aluminum pop-rivets (8). Time required to assemble (not including the time spent in futility): 1 hour.

Do NOT buy.

This thing is absolutely horrible, it’s so cheaply made. It is hard to assemble because it falls apart when you build it. I’m returning in the morning. Not worth the price paid at all. This garbage should be $10 tops.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Panacea raised garden bed POOR!

Did not have all parts to complete raised bed. I called the company and they suggested I return it instead to sending me the 2 corner parts missing. Terrible company PANACEA! Poor customer service from this company. I will be returning to TSC and going with a different brand of raised garden bed. Waste of my time and gas.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Above ground Garden Bed

Appears constructed of quality material. Painted surfaces to aid in rust proofing. Our problem was putting this garden bed together was the ‘far to small coupling areas near the corners of each side. Get one placed and another ‘connector’ would pop out of place. Totally frustrating! Finally, and I guess some divine intervention the sides all seemed to come together. Wrong! As we would stand the thing up in the place we wanted, you guessed it not one but two corners popped out of their designed ‘hook and eye.’ Genuine PAIN IN THE B—t. Again an effort to finally complete the assembly pays off and we think it has finally come together in the desired location. I gather up the bags of soils/Peat Moss and begin adding them into the beds. As I was almost finished I note a corner attachment has separated leaving a small opening. As I plan to place decorative rock around the base I elect to ‘look the other way.’ The rock should keep this ‘defect’ in check, along with the dirt inside the bed. Finally, and not 100% regarding the finished assembly but believe it should stay in place. Looks pretty good with the ‘ Rock Retainers’ all around the raised bed. We will hope it maintains its shape and purpose.
