Q: Can I. Use this for canning with a pressure canner outdoors?

  • A: Hi Kathy! Many pressure canner manufacturers strongly advise against using their canners on outdoor LP gas burners or gas ranges exceeding 12,000 BTUs as it can damage your pressure canner by warping, detachment of the lid, or fusing the canner to the burner.
