Quiet, 80ft coverage, the best sprinkler

I purchased my first orbit Gear Sprinkler a year and a half ago and added 2 more this year. The tripod base is steady and easy to adjust. My terrain is not even but in a few seconds I can make sure the sprinkler is adjusted properly. This sprinkler is silent. These sprinklers are easy to adjust with small increments to make sure water is sent exactly where I want. These are so much better than impact sprinklers which are loud and uneven in coverage. With six spray patterns you have to make sure that it is aligned properly to spray the maximum distance. It just takes a few seconds. This operates differently than any other so it takes a couple minutes the first time you use it. As for me, I wouldn't trade the Orbit Gear Sprinkler for any other on the market. Highly Recommended !

We recently seeded our yard and bought this thinking it would be wonderful. It's junk the ground is never wet around it. Ran it for about an hour and have attached a picture. The one running in the picture was just started prior to taking it and the tripod one was sitting where I placed the one in the picture. Save your money!! And this after several attempts with the different settings on it over the last few weeks

I read reviews before making the purchase. There were several reviews of people referring to the oscillation failing. I was hoping to get lucky and have no problems. Unfortunately, I had the same issue with mine.

Something told me I should have paid attention to the negative reviews. The very first time I used it it leaked from just under the nozzle and it would only intermittently spin back-and-forth from stop to stop. If I left it alone for 20 minutes and came back to the yard I was likely to find a huge puddle in one place where the sprinkler didn’t rotate or decided to stop after working for five minutes.
