This Ohio Steel Ball Coupler Conversion Kit converts Ohio Steel carts (and others through drilling) from a pin hitch to a ball hitch attachment. The powder-coated steel bracket and galvanized steel coupler in the conversion kit offer strength and reliability. An included mounting kit makes installation of the conversion kit simple. This ball coupler conversion kit attaches to all Ohio Steel non-swivel dump carts.2-Year limited warranty

Q: Does the provided hitchball have a 5/8" arbor to fit a garden tractor

  • A: A ball hitch is not included with this product. It will have to be purchased separately. This product includes a 1-7/8” ball coupler and a bracket for attaching it to your dump cart.

Q: I have a  swivel cart from Ohio steel. This product states for non swivel. Which conversion kit would I use for a swivel dump cart?

    Doesnt fit swivel carts

    I have an Ohio cart and bought this for it, thinking same brand should fit, but it didnt. Then I went back & read it again and noticed it said not for swivel carts. My point is why dont you make all your cart receivers standard? My husband will make it work, but has to drill holes to make it line up. Quality is decent enough though.

    Easy to install, great quality, works perfectly. Make sure you use the correct 1-7/8 ball and you will not have any issues that other reviewers may have described. Also, I found that pressing down on the top latch makes releasing the lock trigger much easier. The only minor issue is with the length of the latch. It hits the top on my three point hitch plate when open. This just requires two hands to separate the dump bin from the ball hitch. Not a big deal.
