- A: It is 55 inches from swing seat to top of “S” hook. (Supplied with swing) Put two eye hooks into the beam above and used galvanized snap link to attach. This adds about 4 inches to total length. A little wd40 makes it a little smother. You can buy regular swing hinges but they are $40 for a pair5 years agoHelpful?

Nice looking bench and well built. Would have given it a five but the hex key provided, while a standard one was not much help in assembling the swing. I used my one hex key with a handle for better leverage and the swing went together much faster. Don't know how long it will hold up to the weather, but it looks nice, seems very well constructed.
