To anchor down an arbor, the most common method is to set the support posts in concrete footings by digging holes in the ground, placing the posts in the holes, and then pouring concrete around them to secure them firmly in place. You can also screw a timber stake (about 30cm tall) to each leg, and then sink the whole stake into the ground.a year agoHelpful?

Beautiful, High Quality, Strong, Easy to Assemble

After installing a trellis bought from TractorStore online, we were so impressed we bought and installed this arbor at the fence gate to the woods behind our house. It is high quality, well engineered, easy to install, and is made of very high quality materials - even the screws!

A substantial arbor

We've just assembled this arbor and it looks great. The construction appears quite substantial and high quality. I strongly suggest that you have at least two people doing the assembly to make sure everything is plumb and square. Also, it is too big for one person to handle safely. But otherwise, I look forward to many years of use.

Had some trouble putting it together, but the company was good about answering all my questions. Assembly would be easier with 2 people. I'm a 73 y/o female - 110 lbs and did it myself by taking my time. I love this arbor
