Q: Where is the arbor made?

  • A: Hi Neighbor! The Vita Rosewood Cedar Arbor is manufactured in China. Vita Home & Garden (the manufacturer) is a Canadian company based in Sarnia, Ontario, but they have their cedar and vinyl products produced overseas.

Q: I see that this is stained Golden Brown, but can a different color stain be applied over this?

  • A: You can stain the wood a different color but it will void your warranty. If you choose to stain this a new color, it is a water based stain.

Q: What is the inside width of this arbor? Plus are there staples holding the lattice together or glue ?

    Great Trellis

    This was purchased to replace a metal trellis that held wisteria. My husband is an engineer. He said this was a good buy, well made and sturdy. He said because it is cedar, it can be repaired over time, if needed. He did varnish it to waterproof it because we live in the southern US, and wisteria is a heavy plant. The trellis impressed my husband, who is not easily impressed.
