If that is the case, the Park Avenue is over 50% larger based on inside dimensions of both. - A: Good question. Qualified answer, It depends on the reptile you are planning to house. About the only exception would be anything in the snake category. The top is covered in a stainless steel mesh that is spaced about 1/2" apart. A slender snake could easily escape. I would also recommend adding some sort of a lock to make sure the lid can't be forced open by the reptile./ A better answer might be the new Mojave Reptile Habitat. It is now available - although you will likely have to search for it. It is that new - which has been designed with reptile inhabitants in mind.5 years agoHelpful?

Great for Beginners

I've raised meat rabbits outdoors for years but my daughter wanted to keep one as a pet inside the house. After a few months the cottontail outgrew his hamster sized cage. This is a great long term habitat easy to clean. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it requires a splash guard under the pen and the boards need a sealant on the edges to keep it clean. I bought a extra large cage tray to go under the pen. You'll also want a litter box with a splash guard to keep urine off the walls. It stains very easily.

Nice Hutch. I think it will serve quite well for my bunnies. They probably will outgrow it pretty quickly. No fault of Tractor Supply, but it was damaged during shipment. Two of the corners were busted and there is a crack along the top on one side in the back panel but it's nothing I can't work with. Very easy to assemble. I think it would work best for small animals like a guinea pig or hamsters if you have more than one. Lots of space then. Decent construction. I like the material that it is made from. Not thrilled with the plastic screws that are used to put it together though. I think real screws would be better. Overall not a bad product.

Attention Parents: no one ever thinks do used tractor supply for urban area, pets, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. I have spent thousands on cages, and finally, when she is 16 years old and able to use the Internet herself, lol, she finds the perfect cage! And it would fit all the animals I have ever gotten her. 😁
