Q: How many gallons is the 48 inch reptile tank? Also can it hold water for turtles?

  • A: Thank you for the question. This unit is approximately 120 gallons. It was not designed to hold standing water and is not watertight. If you intend to use this item for a bioactive set-up or need it to be watertight, you can seal the seams to do so. We hope this helps!

Q: Can a heating pad be attached to the bottom of this, so that my Uromastyx will have a warm place to lay?

Good Snake Home

This is a great basic snake cage. My son was able to put it together using the directions and the snake seems to like the extra space. You will still need to decorate and enrich the space, but this is a great beginning.
