For Puppies Puppies may start nibbling around 4-5 weeks of age. You may feed Native Level 4 dry, but moistening may enhance acceptance. If desired, self-feeding may be started at any age after weaning. If puppies are not self feeding, but on a schedule, feed them 3 times per day up to 6 months of age and 2 times per day from 6 months to 1 year of age. Provide plenty of fresh water. For Pregnant Females Using the feeding directions, offer 50% more food during pregnancy. For Lactating Females Using the feeding directions, offer 2-3 times the normal amount of food. Native Level 4 is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages.

Sudden changes can be traumatic to a dog's digestive system and cause upset. We recommend mixing progressively smaller quantities of the current food with increasingly larger quantities of Native over a period of 7 days until the dog is completely on Native.
