The National Plant Network 2.5 qt. Radicans Gardenia Plant is a low-growing, prolifically blooming gardenia that perfumes the garden with a profusion of petite white gardenia flowers in summer. Planted in a container on the patio, it fills outdoor living areas with an irresistible fragrance for weeks each year. 'Radicans' is incredibly versatile and can be used in the border, as a tall groundcover or even as a gardenia indoor plant. Gardenias are best grown in USDA hardiness zones 7-11. The set includes (1) Radicans Gardenia in a 2.5 qt. pot and a detailed planting guide.

Q: I love Gardinias but I thought they had to be taken in in the fall. Does this plant have to be uprooted and brought inside in Zone 7? Does it need to be cut back or mulched hard in the fall if it can stay outside?

- A: Hello Melissa - You do not need to bring this inside in your Zone. These are hardy to your zone. They also should not need any cutting back or mulching but mulching can help reduce weed pressure. Thank you - National Plant Network4 years agoHelpful?

My husband picked these up for me and I opened them as soon as he got home. A bunch of leaves had fallen off, the majority of what was left was yellow, and they were soaking wet. We've planted them and they look horrible. Were attempting to save them.

I never received this plant. I went to the store they had a hard time finding my butterfly bush plant. they stated this was on back order. I called back a week later the store associate stated they have nothing on file and that I picked it up. I stated i was given 1 box that clearly stated Butterfly bush x2. So I called customer care to have a plant reshipped at no cost being I never received my first one. they replaced the order or so they say and it will arrive by may 5th to the store. I then received an email that my order was cancelled. Imagine that!
