Alocasia Low Rider, recognized by its common name of Dwarf Elephant Ear", is a low-maintenance variety with a flair for the dramatic. The ruffled foliage forms the shape of a heart or fan, painted in a bright natural green, with showy veins throughout. An ideal house plant, it performs well in warm and humid conditions with full sun to partial shade. Pot in rich, well-draining soil, with regular watering. Best grown in USDA hardiness zones 7-11, but will perform well as an annual or house plant in all zones.
