Mahonia Soft Caress' is a compact, evergreen shrub standing approximately 3-5 feet tall and wide, featuring feathery, bamboo-like pinnate foliage that is thornless and soft to the touch. In late fall to early winter, it produces vertical sprays of sunny yellow flowers that brighten shaded gardens. After blooming, clusters of silvery-blue berries appear, attracting songbirds. Ideal for woodlands, woodland borders, groundcover, containers, and shade plantings.
