The N-Ferno Black FR Fleece Neck Gaiter is dual compliant to two flame-resistant standards, NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112, for protection against both arc flash and flash fire. This versatile, no-bulk winter gaiter blocks out all the elements to keep you safe and warm in the most demanding conditions. This FR neck gaiter is constructed of Polartec fleece, a grid-construction knit that minimizes fabric mass and maximizes fabric performance for increased warmth and lighter weight. Ideal for those working in winter conditions where FR clothing is required, such as electrical, oil and gas, linework, refinery, paper/pulp industry, food processing and more.

  • Designed to be worn where arc flash and flash fire situations can occur
  • Meets requirements of both NFPA 70E and NFPA 2112 (UL certified)
  • Arc rated: Cat 2; 20 cal/cm2 ATPV
  • Wear the gaiter around neck or pulled over mouth, nose and ears
  • Polartec fleece fabric enhances thermal capabilities while remaining lightweight and breathable

Warm but fit is big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this gaiter and put it to the test. Working outside in the Wisconsin winter is no fun and then having to wear a mask on top of that makes it worse. I had really high hopes for this neck gaiter but the fit was just to big and kept falling down. The gaiter is very warm and comfortable but I had to roll it up some to make it fit properly. Haven’t had any run in’s to test the FR on the gaiter but if I do it will for sure protect the beard underneath!
