Directions

GENERAL MIXING DIRECTIONS: Step 1: Determine the estimated total weight of the entire group of chickens to be treated. One 3 mL vial of Safe-Guard® Aquasol will treat a flock with a total body weight of up to 264 lbs. for 5 consecutive days. The 3 mL presentation of Safe-Guard® AquaSol should NOT be used for flocks with a total body weight of less than 22 lbs. because accurate doses cannot be measured for these flocks. Step 2: Consult the table on the label to determine the volume of water required to prepare the medicated water based on flock weight. Use a clean mixing container appropriate for the daily volume of water, fill with the required amount of water, and set aside. Step 3: Consult the packaging to determine the amount of Safe-Guard® AquaSol needed and prepare your medicated water following the mixing instructions on the label.

The only product I'll use to deworm

If you have chickens needing deworming, look no further - this is an easy to use product that will give you results in a straightforward way without needing egg withdrawal. The one thing to emphasize is that using during molting can lead to feather damage, so AVOID WHEN MOLTING. I used this product as directed for my flock and found that it worked effectively, was palatable and easy for my birds to consume, easy and consistent for me to dose their water, and had zero issues with the medication absorbing into the water. I am so happy that this product exists specifically for chickens!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Dewormer for chickens

Couldn't use it. When opened, it is designed for people who have large flocks. If you are just a back yard chicken keeper you can't make a small enough dose to use the product.
