Our GSD "Loki" brought home an armadillo between his jaws and dropped it ☠️on our doorstep having shook it until he broke it backbone.. all smiles. Found this @TSC and bought two.. more smiles. They are different locs and both holding up very well.

It does squeak but it is fairly difficult to get to because this is a very stiff toy. If you have a big chewer, this is a fantastic toy. I have a pit mix that loves ropes and other fabric toys but she destroys them so quickly so we stopped giving them when she was a puppy. That was 5 years ago. The rope a neighbor gave as a "durable" gift last month was shredded within 24 hours. She was shocked but I knew what to expect. Now this armadillo has been an absolute hit. I gave it the same time, so about 6 weeks ago, and it is still going strong! I'm waiting for the tail to be ripped off fully. I'm surprised it's lasted this long. The stitching around the edges is completely intact. The squeaker still works. The ears are still on. No puncture holes in the fabric. I'm going back and buying two more for when it finally is destroyed. She romps around attacking and wrestling this thing everyday. She brings it to me so we can play tug with it. I am shocked how much of a hit it is and how well it has held up. 10 out of 10!

My pitty mix is a heavy chewer and slayer of stuffies. I purchased this armadillo thinking it would give her a solid 30 minutes of fun before being ripped limb from limb. Two days later and she has only managed to chew the tail off. YMMV but this one has been perfect for my pup.

I've got some heavy chewers that destroy toys within minutes. The so called tough toys don't last but this has become the favourite. Had to purchase 3 more so everyone has one and we've got a spare. Highly recommend.
