Could use some tweaking

I’m on my second Muddy brand harness and I’ve been overall satisfied. My first one was the Magnum Pro which was efficient but simple. My only real complaint would have be the elastic straps they used for the binoculars holder. Had to zip tie them up the shoulder strap about half way so the binoculars didn’t sag all the way to my lap. Unfortunately, their Safeguard harness has the same strap system for the binoculars. This is one of the main reasons when I replaced my harness I went with the Ambush Harness, it has a much nicer binoculars holding system. They no longer hang in my lap but at my mid chest which makes it easier to use while wearing a heavier jacket. Maybe the clips could be a little easier to get the string loops out of, but not terrible. The other reason for selecting this model is the 2 Quick-release leg buckles which make it much easier than stepping through like the Magnum was and the Safeguard is, especially with heavy layering for cold weather. It would be nice if the leg straps had the pads like the Safeguard but due to the way the Quick-release leg straps adjust I don’t think it possible. My big complaint about the Ambush is the elastic chest strap. It doesn’t maintain adjustment, and even if it did, the elasticity of the strap is weak and stretches till it’s deformed. A webbing strap would be better. This is the first harness I've had that has the weight relief strap and I wished it stowed better, frequently need to verify that it’s pushed back into its belt sleeve due to movement or by accidentally grabbing it reaching for my belt when putting on. Love Muddy’s tree strap with the heavy loop built into it, leaving the carabiner on the back tether making it easy to hook when transferring into stand. I have bought additional tree straps so each stand set up has one already around tree for quick transfer. Also the lineman rope is quick to attach to harness and fantastic to have when attaching stick ladder and hanging stand. Overall I’m satisfied with the quality and simplicity of the Ambush, but it could use a little tweaking specifically the chest strap, hate the strap, which is why I’m giving it a 4.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Saved my life.

Bought this a few years ago and just wore it to be safe and match my Sitka gear. I’m 6’0 215lbs and it is super light and comfortable. My ratchet straps connected to my tree stand snapped this morning and it saved my life from 25’ in the air. Safety is no fluke when it happens to you. Thank you Muddy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

All around perfect

Purchased it to match my Sitka and to upgrade my cheap harness to a safer options. Checks both boxes perfectly! I’m 6’3 185-195 and it fits from think subalpine gear in early expanded archery and then fits just as well around my Sitka Stratus top and bottoms so All around couldn’t be better for my needs!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Height limit?

Can somebody over 6’0 tall give me some insight on the fit? I am 6’5 and wondering if I fit in the “one size fits most” category. Thanks
