Heavy duty but light weight. I love that the boots are water proof and they run true to size with winter socks. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is lack of arch support.

I love them! Comfortable and warm. Only concern is the tread seems slick on pavement or wood.

I've been wearing high and mid-rise muck boots at my job (horse barn manager) for about 3 years now and they have helped save my knee from the heavy walking I do. They allow for my feet to swell during the day without causing back pressure, and are sooo comfortable. Unfortunately I've tried two different low-rise/slip-on boots styles and cannot get the same comfort. Within an hour of working I've got pressure point rubs. My feet don't stay solid in the bed, and slide forward causing pressure on my toes. This makes me sad, because I really really wanted a less clunky, lighter option in muck boot. I guess I will go back to the mid-rise artic to get the comfort I need to work in. I do appreciate and love all the other "muck" features and will continue to try and find an ankle boot that will be an option.

These are very good to slide in to and do the ranch/barn chores. I only wish that there was a better insole. My feet get sore if I have them on for too long.
