- A: No, it's not that kind of boot. Rubber and neoprene. With thick socks, your feet will stay warm in these boots. When I sit in the tree stand, my feet are the last thing to get cold when I'm wearing these with thick wool socks. I highly recommend RealTree knee-length. I’ll start off by saying these are the best boots in the world……I wish I could wear them all summer. I have a farm. I got them just after winter and wore them threw some of the summer cold days and mornings. They are amazing and the best things ever. I can’t wait to wear them in the winter. 6 months into having them with on and off use I sprung a leak at a seam. For the price that should have happened. TSC is a great company and gave me my money back. I got another pair with the $ same style. Hope they last longer then 6 months or I’ll have to look elsewhere next time. Even though I have fallen in love with them. They need to make a summer pair also that’s just as comfortable.

Rugged Boots

Muck boots purchased held up well on recent trip into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Multiple canoe portages required feet in the water and portaging over rocky grond. Basically wore the boots the entire week even fishing in the canoe as the weather was cool and didn't want to pack another pair of hiking boots. No leaks to speak of. Had to be cautious of not sliping on wet rocks with the rubber soles.
