- A: No, it's not that kind of boot. Rubber and neoprene. With thick socks, your feet will stay warm in these boots. When I sit in the tree stand, my feet are the last thing to get cold when I'm wearing these with thick wool socks. I highly recommend RealTree knee-length. Great boots, this is my fourth pair that I've purchased during the last 25yrs. I have worn these boots while hunting, and during the worst snow storms. They have kept my feet warm and dry.

Lightening the load

We have always worn Muck boots, so I purchased these for my husband who normally buys steel toe mucks, to lighten up his hiking experience. He loves them for the lightweight and waterproof features for walking in and around the creeks on the property. He will be using these year round so we’re hopeful that the boots are fairly warm. All in all, he is satisfied with these boots.
