Minwax 16 oz. Wipe-On Poly Oil-Based Polyurethane Finish, Warm Satin, Clear

I take woodshop classes at my high school, and I am currently in my senior year and in the highest class for wood. I would not think of any other brand than Minwax for stains or sealants. I used the wipe-on poly for a CNC cut project, and I did not have time to do the regular application process of the brush-on poly that we usually use. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy the application process was, and how it was very easy to get a good coat by buffing it into the wood. I also appreciate that it helped deepen and enrich the colors, similar to how mineral oil would, which is probably attributed to the fact that you can really buff the product into the wood. I was very satisfied with the product, and I would definitely use this again on any smaller projects that I want to have the buffed on look, and that I both need done fast and with ease. I use Minwax products for all of my personal projects too, and i would highley recommend these to my friends.

I applied the wipe on poly in warm satin.  Application was easy but when it dried the finish is blotchy and cloudy.  Yes, every surface had the wipeon applied..

I love this finish. It always gives a good protection and is consistently smooth. It is my go-to finish for any none-painted wood. But please find another container. The spout always gets covered in poly and is a real chore to clean. Have you considered the pouches with spouts? That is easy to clean and you can remove most air to avoid skinning in the can.
