Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little radio! I bought this for my Polaris Rzr as a means of keeping in touch around the farm. It turned out to be so great that I bought 2 more for my dump truck and tractor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little radio! I have always had 36 mile walkies. I have wanted a mobile unit for quite a while. I picked a 5w and fell in love with it. I live in very rural Maine and we are surrounded by miles of woods. Lots of hills and valleys, trees and such. locally I can talk about 5 miles around the house even with the walkies. The furthest i have reaches was just under 20 miles line of sight from my truck mobile to home walkie. looking forward to getting the 15w and 40w and being able to really reach out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! I use this in the head vehicle with my 3 side-by-sides. They work perfectly with my two radios i have in the other vehicles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I tested 2 base units in Mexico city and found a usable range of 4 km. Not bad, much better handhelds and better range than a CB. I imagine the 15 watt version is better for an extra $50. These should work well for our RV caravans, I intend to test them on the open highway next week.
