Midamox Topical Solution for Dogs is indicated for the prevention of heartworm disease and the treatment of circulating microfilariae in heartworm-positive dogs. Midamox for Dogs kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations. Midamox for Dogs is indicated for the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange. Midamox for Dogs is also indicated for the treatment and control of the following intestinal parasites including hookworm, roundworm, and whipworms. It's also available in a 6-month supply of Midamox solution for dogs, depending on their weight.How it Works
Midamox for Dogs (10% imidacloprid + 2.5% moxidectin) is a colorless to yellow ready-to-use solution packaged in single dose applicators for topical treatment of dogs. The formulation and dosage schedule are designed to provide a minimum of 4.5 mg/lb. (10 mg/kg) imidacloprid and 1.1 mg/lb. (2.5 mg/kg) moxidectin based on bodyweight.
Special Precautions
When applying Midamox, you should avoid contact with skin. When contact occurs, headache, dizziness, redness, burning, tingling, and numbness may occur. Always wash hands after applying Midamox. After applying to multiple pet, keep them separated for 30 minutes to prevent them from licking the product off of each other. If ingested, serious reactions may occur, including dilated pupils, panting, muscle tremors, lack of coordination, salvation, and depression. Safety has not been proven for use on Midamox in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs.

Contact your nearest emergency animal hospital.
Side Effects
Side effects that have been reported include diarrhea, bloody stools, lack of appetite, lethargy, coughing, nasal or ocular discharge. Stiff, greasy hair has been reported at the site of application, resolve without the need for treatment, typically within 48 hours.
Storage
Store below 77°F (25°C). Excursions are permitted up to 104°F (40°C) however such exposure should be minimized. Do not remove the applicator from the pouch until ready to use. Do not use after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
