This Mibro 5/16 in. High Speed Steel Drill Bit can be used to drill in wood, plastic and softer metals such as aluminum. Ideally suited for most projects around the house. This drill bit set is suitable for use on wood, wood composites, plastics and repetitive drilling in most metals - not recommended for hard metals such as stainless steel

  • This drill bit set is suitable for use on wood, wood composites, plastics and softer metals such as aluminum and copper
  • 135° split point tip eliminates the need for a center punch and keeps the drill bit from walking
  • 3 flats on the drill's shank insure that it is held tightly in the drill chuck

Three flats on shank to avoid slipping in chuck

Cut nicely. Drilled 80 holes in hardwood pallets and saw no dropoff.

Picked up 3 so I wouldn't have to stop and sharpen.only 1 would cut. Drill points are so far off it just makes heat and powder.Flute lengths are not consistant and the chuck flats are different lengths between all 3.Plus the markings are even different on the shank.
