A solid center design provides added rigidity, and the full-length heat treatment helps resist bending during demanding applications. Ground flutes behind the lands efficiently channel wood chips away from the cutting edge for faster, cleaner drilling, while the wide lands help keep the bit tracking straight throughout the cut.
