This Meyer Products 2 in. Receiver Hitch Extension with 2 in. Drop-Rise attaches to the Quick-Link receiver that is mounted to the front of your vehicle. The front hitch for mounting the Home Plow by Meyer needs to measure between 10-13 in. from the ground to centerline of the Class 3, 2 inch receiver hitch. When a vehicle is too high or too low, this receiver hitch extension will be required. The hitch extension is made from steel with a powder-coat finish for long-lasting use. The gross trailer weight capacity of the receiver hitch extension is 5,000 lb.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

Perfect for Jeep Wrangler with spare tire

Worked out perfectly. The extension clears the spare tire for a bike rack on a Jeep Wrangler and the 2" drop allows me to fully open the tailgate with bike rack dropped/unfolded. That stem is solid, very sturdy. Pricy and hard to find but worth it (all others I found had a minimum 7" extension and I didn't want/need it out that far, this is about 4". For whatever reason it didn't go all the way back into my receiver for the shorter extension hole options but works great anyway).

I used this on my Kawasaki Mule to raise the hitch point 2" and extend it out about 4". Makes the 4' x 8' utility trailer work perfectly.

excellent product. I purchased this because I needed an extension so that my folding basket would not hit my vehicle. a plus was that it raised the basket a bit to offset the extra length when crossing a dip. this hitch has a solid lower bar with 3 adjustment holes. a great feature in strength and adjustment to fit your vehicle.

I was at the deer lease and was going to put my corn spreader on the back of my Ranger. I noticed without the adaptor I would not be able to use the corn spreader. I bought this and it got here quick and worked great
