    vSkeptical Senior Mechanical Engineer... Impressed

I got water in hydraulic system. I found this product online and called the companies engineers. After a lengthy discussion of how this product absorbs water, but not oil, I was sold. He suggested that I drain my tank and then put in new oil, with the additive. I had drained the oil in the past and was not able to get all the water out, so why not drain it a second time second time?? However, this time the additive worked! Oil is not white anymore. There is a huge catch to this product. It does not make water go away. This product simply encapsulates the water molecules so they don't make the oil white, degrade your system, and mess with the PH of the oil which kills hoses. In order to actually remove the water from your oil you would need to purchase a second product from this company. It's a ceramic, or some patented composition, bead that absorbs water. Hundreds of these beads go into a "sock" that hangs in your tank. So the real question I had was why not just buy the sock of beads and forget the additive. and the answer to this is speed of water removal. This additive is temperature dependent, needs 50 degree weather and hard work of the system. But it worked fast, 24 hrs. The beads, as I understand it, take a bit more time to work. I have not bought them yet, so i have no experience with them. All in all. With time = money for most of us. This $100 fix saved me from 10+ hours of labor completely draining a large hydraulic system, flushing it several times, and so on to get ever drop of water out.

    Works Great!

We had a John Deere bulldozer 525B that had milky hydraulic oil and we added some of this into the oil and it cleared up the oil with in a day of running. It’s a little pricey for a gallon but much cheaper than dumping all the oil and flushing the system and adding new hydraulic oil! Would highly recommend this product to anyone with the same issue.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
