Q: Will this work with motor oil? My bulldozer takes 10w 30 engine oil in the brakes and steering system
2 years ago- A: Hi Daniel - yes this works in any oil - hydraulic, engine, transmission, power steering, transfer case, turbine, compressor, differential, more. We named it Hydraulic Oil Fix when we launched it, but it does work in these others. Thanks B3C Fuel Solutions2 years agoHelpful?
Q: can one buy less than 1 gallon
2 years ago- A: Yes, you can get a 24oz bottle. Tractor Supply sells this on the website: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/mechanic-in-a-bottle-hydraulic-oil-fix-stabilizer-24-oz-21-024-12 years agoHelpful?
Q: How much of your product to treat 15 gallons of hydraulic oil? Also will the encapsulated water clog up the filters?
3 years ago- A: You need to make sure what the Total System Capacity is (tank, hoses, pumps, rams, valves, etc.). Best practice is to drain the system, replace hydraulic oil, and add Hydraulic Oil Fix at a 3% ratio to Total System Capacity. If you are unable to drain the tank, then add 3% Hydraulic Oil Fix of Total System Capacity to the tank. If 15 gallons is the total capacity, than 57.6oz will be the required amount. We suggest to start the piece of equipment and warm up the hydraulic oil before adding the Hydraulic Oil Fix to help distribution of the product in the hydraulic oil. Encapsulated water will not clog filters, while emulsified water will.3 years agoHelpful?
