Q: WHAT IS SEMI-PNEUMATIC? IS IT SOFT ENOUGH TO MOVE EASILY OVER ROCKS AND BRANCHES? I AM REPLACING THE HARD PLASTIC WHEELS ON MY CUB CADET STRING TRIMMER.

  • A: Per a quick google search: SEMI-PNEUMATIC tires are made of solid rubber with a hollow air-pocket through the center of the tire. The air pocket is built into these molded tires, so unlike air filled tires, they have no tubes or valve stems and cannot be inflated. This should work for your application.

Q: I am searching for a pressure washer replacement 14" wheel. The axel doesn't span the distance from wheel to wheel. The length of the axel (part of frame) is only 2". Will this wheel fit and leave room for the cap to hold the wheel on.

Ideal for real transport surfaces

I had a need for a transporter I decided to construct to move through very uneven ground as well as street curbs but I did not want a wheel as large as an on an adult's bike. This 14" diameter is the perfect size to meet this requirement. It appears to be well built with an entirely satisfactory ball bearing wheel suspension that permit installation with any suitable 1/2" shaft as axel, e.g., a carriage bolt. I like the neutral air pressure tire that permits some give without the necessity of maintaining a constant overpressure as is necessary with conventional tubed tires.
