The classic American BB gun is back in a new way. Open up the Marlin Lever Action BB rifle and welcome your family into the wonderful world of "backyard" shooting sports! The Marlin Lever Action BB rifle fills up with 650 rounds of .177 caliber steel BBs and with a single stroke of its iconic lever shoots BBs at 300 FPS. Topping off this great looking lever action BB gun are its sleek polymer wood grain finished checkered handguard, elegant wood-look stock and the "Big Loop" lever making the Marlin easy to operate for just about any hand size. The Marlin Lever Action is easy to operate: keep it pointed in a safe direction at all times, open the loading gate up by the muzzle end at the end of the barrel, pour in 100s of steel BBs, pull the lever down until it stops, return the lever to its resting position, acquire your airgun target, put the rifle on fire, squeeze the trigger, repeat for all day fun! Be sure to wear your safety glasses! It's powered entirely by spring-actioned compressed atmospheric air, uses no gunpowder, and should not be confused with any form of firearm. The best targets to use are paper, tin cans, plastic bottles, and the like. This Marlin BB gun is super quiet so you won't disturb any of your neighbors and makes an excellent choice to gift wrap as a present for all kinds of occasions like birthdays, Father's Day, graduations, and Christmas!

Fun, even for adults!

We bought our 10yo son a Daisy Red Ryder model this past Christmas. I shot it a few times and decided it was pretty fun so I kicked around the idea of getting the Daisy Buck but I saw it was incredibly short on length of pull so I decided not to. The one thing I wasn't crazy about when I considered this one was the plastic stock and forearm, but I remembered most of the BB guns from my childhood had plastic stocks, so it wasn't a big deal after I thought about it. So, I bought it anyway and I'm very happy with it. The overall appearance of the gun is very good in my opinion. The benefit to the plastic stock is they can get in the checkering detail and relief areas that Daisy can't do with a thin board they use as a stock. When it comes to lever action rifles, I'm not crazy about big loop levers, but it's helpful in the case of the Marlin BB gun since my fingers fit in it better than the Daisy. The operating mechanism between the Marlin and Daisy are pretty much identical and operate the same way. I shoot faster and more accurately with the peep sight included on this gun than I do with my son's Daisy. The one negative about the sights is that it shoots to the right and I don't know why since the sights look pretty centered. The rear sight is not set up to be adjusted for windage but I tweaked it to the left and it's mostly shooting to point of aim now, about as good as it's going to get. Shooting pop cans and water bottles out to 20 yards is easily doable and closer ranges is child's play. I have a large sycamore tree in my backyard and I have been shooting the seed balls that grow on it. Some of them are 10 to 12 yards or so away. The balls are around 2" in diameter. I don't expect it to kill animals like birds or squirrels and I don't believe it should be used for those purposes but it's super fun for shooting pop cans, plastic army figures, paper targets, clay targets, etc. The large capacity of 650 BBs is just like the Daisy. I like that the safety can be engaged when it's cocked or not. Last thing I'll mention is velocity. I have a chronograph that uses radar to detect speed. The Daisy zinc plated BBs average around 295fps with good accuracy and the Umarex Hornady Black were around 285 fps and accuracy isn't as good, kind of poor honestly. I also like the zinc plated because I can watch the BB as it flies to the target and make corrections in my aim for follow-up shots. The velocity is comparable to the speeds from my son's Daisy. I'm sorry for being long winded and if you made it this far, thank you for reading. If you buy it, I hope you'll like it as much as I like mine. The Marlin is made by Umarex, I have a couple other guns from Umarex and they have been good as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

decent Plinkster

I just got this today 11/23/25. So far this is what i have noticed. A good little BB gun for beginners or anyone wanting to plink. First off let me be clear I would not try to go shoot squirrels with this or anything but for what it is, it's a decent little plinkster. Right out of the box it shot truer than I expected. At about 20 yards i was able to shoot the box it came in. The BB did go all the way through the cardboard box with very little drop on the exit side. It is mainly all plastic but hey, it's a $40.00 BB gun what do you expect? The action and safety are the same as you would find on a red rider except this one has a larger lever loop. I really like the fact it can hold 650 BB's.

Yes, I recommend this product.
