The next evolution in our MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) line, the MBUS 3 incorporates the best features, strengths and value of our original MBUS and MBUS Pro Sights in a feature-packed back-up sight system. Significantly reduced in size from the MBUS, it sits at just 0.55" high when folded, 1.38" at its widest point, and weighs a scant 30 grams with hardware. Its aesthetics are derived from the MBUS Pro, but the MBUS 3 Rear Sight is constructed of our impact-resistant polymer, making it lightweight and extremely durable. Featuring the same spring-loaded technology as its predecessor, they can be deployed with an ambidextrous push-button. The MBUS 3 Rear Sight sits at standard AR-height when deployed and includes a windage adjustable, rapid-select aperture system. MBUS 3 Sights will be available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, and OD Green. Made in the USA.

Great sights

Height is perfect such that if my red dot (holosun 510) goes out, these sights align through the middle of the red dot, so you don't have to remove it to use them. Sight picture was easy to learn, and zeroing was easy. Im more accurate out to 100 yds with these than the red dot w/ 3x magnifier.

Sight was tight to fit onto rail, required a bit of patience and finesse to get it into position and locks in tight once set. Adjustment knob is comparatively smoother than the front sight post adjustment knob.

Rugged, functional, slim.

Quality. Well made as usual for magpul. Doesn’t sit perfectly flat when not deployed. It’s maybe a few degrees off the receiver rail. Insignificant and definitely not an issue, but perfectly level would be ideal—I’m definitely nitpicking, though! Still Highly recommend. Only other downside is that, when flipped to the side, my Holosun flip-to-side 3x magnifier interferes with the adjustment knob on the mbus. This is nbd since the magnifier is quick-detach.
