I'd give these cheap so-called "lights" 0 stars if I could. The build quality is poor, and performance is even worse. We recently bought 4 of these lights, one in each of the colors offered, to add some Christmas cheer to our front yard flower pots, where we've had great luck using other solar yard art lights for years. The location is southern-facing open rural, with no trees or other obstructions from horizon to horizon. Our latitude is within a few miles of the 45th parallel. All 4 were were already pre-charged from being displayed in the brightly lit TSC store. All 4 illuminated when unpackaged and turned on after dark. Within the first hour the green one simply went out and never returned (it did flicker a couple of times when jiggled, then nothing.) The white/clear one illuminates as expected for a couple of hours each night before dimming into oblivion. The other two, red and blue, are persistently dim from illumination at sunset, and still only last for a couple of hours. Meanwhile all of our other solar lights, with similar size solar panels, stay illuminated all night long. All of them are going back to the local TSC store for a refund tomorrow.
