Little Giant Statuary and Fountain Pump, 130GPH, 566716 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pump for rain barrels I bought this pump to move water from my rain barrels to water my garden. I just drop the pump into each barrel. It delivers close to the rated 2 gallons a minute through a 100 foot hose on level ground. That's about the right flow for watering. I move an open-ended hose from tomato plant to tomato plant every minute. I tried a 25 foot hose and an 8 foot lift and didn't get any flow. Four or five feet is about the max but with much reduced flow.

I want to use this pump in an ICP tote to circulate the water for the fish living in the tank. Can one attach a pond hose to it so it can spray from above the tank?

Asked by: leap
The PES-130-PW will accept ½” and 5/8” vinyl tubing so you can route the tubing so the water will recirculate back into the tank. The maximum pumping height for this pump 5 and a ½ feet so you will need to make sure you are not pumping up higher than that. I am wanting to circulate water from a reservoir to a birdbath and circulate it back to the reservoir. Will this pump circulate water to bird bath and bring same water back to the tank?

Asked by: Big tall Joe
These pumps are designed to circulate the water so it should do what you are trying to do as long as the pump is able to pump up the height and distance needed to do the job
