Replace worn equipment with a Lippert Components Forward Self-Adjusting Brake. This electric brake assembly is easier to install than hydraulic brakes, and self-adjusting brakes mean you never have to manually adjust them after the initial adjustment. Plus, self-adjusting brakes provide up to 50 percent better braking distance. This right hand brake has an axle rating of 3,500 lb. and is for use with a variety of wheel sizes.

Q: where are the drums listed for these brake systems? Also- can they be converted to a hydraulic system? thank you

  • A: Yes, this can be converted to a hydraulic system. To find the drums, you would need to know the type of axel you have from the axel tag on the center beam. We would recommend calling the manufacturer, Lippert Components, at 574-537-8900 and they can provide you with a part number.
