- A: The item is different than Lime Away. It does have 4 acids in the ingredients. Although our instructions don’t list quartz as it can or can’t be used on.Our suggestion is look for a quartz cleaner at a tile shop. This item mainly cleans showers and toilets.5 years agoHelpful?

This is a good product for cleaning dirt and soap buildup on the shower walls and it works on just about anything that is made of metal, fiberglass, and glass.

The bomb

Lime out is the bomb I put it on rust that was in My toilets and dishwasher and it took it right off so being the red blooded southern boy I am I decided to try it out in the shop on other projects like old knifes and stuff worked like a charm so I went to tractor supply and bought all they had because anything that works this good won't be around long so I don't recommend it to anyone because I don't want it to become hard to find. Lol

I found this one time at Walmart. They have never had it since then. I also found it one time at the Tractor Supply Company. I don't understand this. We have used Lime Away and CLR. Neither work as well on rust, hard water stains or the black marks on our white sink from washing aluminum pots and pans. I finally gave up and ordered an ample supply directly from the manufacturer. It is reasonably priced and just plain works!
