Q: Has anyone used canvas or tarps to make a semi-fitted cover, making this a fort?  I haven’t landed on a great approach for doing that.  Thanks.

  • A: We make a canopy to fit the 60 inch climbing dome that can be ordered through customer service. It will not fit the 66 inch dome however. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (MT).

Climbing Dome was a bit tricky to put together but the kids enjoy the product. Well worth the time to put it together. Appears to be excellent quality that should hold up to the Colorado weather.

We have just put our frame up and attached the canopy and it’s wonderful. The children can still climb over it while it creates shade underneath. They’re talking about the view from the top and making a hom inside. Even the cats are chilling in the shade. Really pleased with it. Also like how the canopy can be taken up at the bottom to let the breeze through.

My little grandson wants so much to climb and hang onto things. He loves this, and the grips help him reach the top. It was easy for my husband (78) and me (65) to assemble it.
