[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an awesome Company with excellent products that have been designed and built fantastically well. The instructions are very informative and well laid out per step. It does take some thought when assembling but it is all 'doable'.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an exhaustive research on Playsets, my wife and I decided on the Gorilla Playset. After assembling the playset we are both in agreement that the quality of the design and materials were better than we expected. While the assembly instructions are clear, it would have been helpful to know that depending on the (build) step, wood and fasteners might come out of two different boxes. (the boxes contain groupings of the different stages of the playset). If you have the space to lay out all of the materials based on each step that would be very helpful. Otherwise if one person can assemble and the other pull the materials for the next step it will shorten the time to build. The building process itself was easy for anyone with a basic working knowledge of tools.

Overall I'm very pleased with the product itself, to save money for this purchase I chose to put it together myself. Let me start with the delivery...the entire set was delivered on two extra long wooden pallets with some items being wrapped in shrink wrap. the entire shipment arrived very beat up making me think that there were many pieces of wood broken. after going through the boxes it was discovered that all of the wooden pieces were in good condition. Now as for the green plastic slides they were scratched in numerous places where they not protected very well. Now the instructions tell you to inspect everything giving you not much time to make the decision to refuse the shipment so I was under a lot of pressure from the onset. the wood as a whole smelled really good and looked good except for maybe 5-6 long pieces that were twisting. the roof pieces where also an area of concern as the tongue and groove did not line up due to some bad cuts and bent boards. The last thing I'll mention is the directions...which arrived in a stack of papers with one staple. "c'mon", you couldn't put this in a binder or folder considering it will be looked at over a hundred times. Also the matching of hardware with specific steps was really difficult. I was always wondering which hardware boxes went with each steps as the hardware in some boxes ran dry forcing me to use hardware from another box. "EXTREMELY CONFUSING" As a whole everything went well mostly because I'm very detailed, but I do which the product came with a one time starter sealant kit so that I have the recommended product right away... I really hope this play-set lasts with all the "TLC" I'll be required to give it every year. "But it's for my kids"
