This backboard combo from Lifetime Products features a 48 in. Shatterproof Fusion Backboard and a Slam-It Rim (orange). The backboard features a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate surface with excellent rebound and has UV-protected, fade-resistant graphics. The Slam-It Rim is The Slam-It Rim is built for aggressive play with 18-Inch rim and double horizontal springs that provide great flexibility and includes a heavy-duty net. This combo is ideal for replacing an existing board or roof mount. 5 Year Limited Warranty

This summer is hot. Really hot. But the product came a little warped out of the box. Tolerable but a little disappointing. I used the universal mount 9594 to an existing pole and its a little crooked. Will have to adjust (sort of a pain). I even though I upgraded from 44 impact board 90759 to this 48, its doesn't look good at 10'. Sweet spot is 100" (didn't look good at 9' either) which is fine for my son who just finished 3rd grade and will be practicing until the next league start. Other than that, this is good for shooting around. Again not sure how long it will last but I'm debating whether or not to take it down during winter. Their rims are great but the boards are so so. This board is ALL plastic. Was considering 73729 which I think have some metal, but they say the entire fiberglass falls down when its hot outside. This summer is really hot!
