Great way to keep a seat in the back while still having a dog hammock set up!

We got a new dog recently and she sheds a LOT. This helps keep her in one area of the car, and keeps the hair and dirt a little more concentrated also.

I like the idea of this product, which allows for a division between where the dog is and a car seat on the other side of the back seat. Unfortunately, the product itself has some notable flaws. First, in terms of material, it is basically a plastic tarp. I have no doubt it is durable and can be easily cleaned, but it is basically a plastic tarp in texture, so if you are looking for anything with padding or the soft feel dogs tend to enjoy, this is certainly not it. Second, the middle is flimsy and cannot be anchored the way it is pictured. The middle strap cannot be tightened in any meaningful way as specified to give it some structure and keep the middle from sagging. I was able to rig up something to make it happen by using the caribbeaner to clip it to both sides, but it is not ideal.
