Inspired by a dog run, the Kurgo Auto Zip Line Dog Restraint System allows back-and-forth plus sit-and-stand movement, but also restricts your dog's access to the front seats, allowing you to drive distraction-free. This multifunctional restraint system is simple to use; the sturdy webbed strap attaches to any two fixed points and the adjustable leash easily connects and disconnects from the zip line when getting in or out of the car, which means instant transition from vehicle restraint to walking lead. The system is ideal for dogs of all life stages, including Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large breeds.

  • Includes a zip line and tether
  • Can be installed between any two fixed points
  • All steel hardware
  • Quick and easy to install
  • Tether can be used as a short lead
  • Designed to prevent distracted driving

Q&As

1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: What is the max weight limit of a dog for this product?

1 Answer
  • A: We do not have a max weight limit of a dog for this product as it is designed for use to restrain a dog and help prevent distracted driving accidents. All parts have been individually load tested to hold well over 1,000 lbs.

Q: If the clip/carabiner goes on the zip line, how does the looped belt connect to harness? There is no photo of the back of the dog. Wondering if I can use their current harnesses or if you have to use Kurgo’s.  Thank you

1 Answer
  • A: Hi Anne Sebastian. I think what you are referring to as the "looped belt" is the leash that comes with the Auto ZipLine. There is a smaller carabiner clip on the end of this leash that you can use to attach to the back of a dog's harness. You can use your current harness with the Auto ZipLine as long as it has a back leash attachment point.

Zip line works well for us!

The Auto Zip line is working well to keep our dog safe in the SUV and the car both--she likes being able to move about in the back seat, we like that she's safe back there and not popping into the front seat for attention while we're driving!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for this review, Kathy! We're so glad this zip line is able to keep your pup safely in her seat and still give her some freedom to move.

Needs a Swivel

The zip line is a great concept but should not be sold without a swivel. My dog tried to lay down and because she turns before she lays down it twisted her harness so tight she couldn't move. It was a scary experience. A swivel would make it a 5 star review.

Freedom!

Super durable construction. My standard poodle had used a seatbelt strap for years, but this system allows him unrestricted movement in the backseat. Ran it across grab handles in Outback and new Land Cruiser.
