Klein Tools Non-Contact Voltage Tester detects standard voltage in cables, cords, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures, switches, non tamper-resistant outlets and wires. A bright green LED indicates the tester is powered on. It changes to red and an audible tone sounds when voltage is detected.

Works great for a few years I like the fact that it's not over sensitive. Had to change the batteries and did not want to come back on since then. I tried 2 set off battery just in case ... does not work anymore ...

Unfortunately this tester does not work if near Regular or tamper outlets. Inserting the front probe does turn the tester red, But Not Always. Be careful. I wish this well documented brand was more sensitive. Model CAT IV 50 - 1000 VAC

This tester is exactly what every homeowner or carpenter needs. Being able to safely check if a power source is live or not curtail to personal safety. Touch less functionality is great!

Perfect size, works perfectly

Just what I need while doing small electrical jobs around the house. It works perfectly and as expected. It alerts you of an electrical current. Thanks to its compact size I'm able to clip into on my shirt pocket and have it handy when needed. Works great everytime.
