My bowl shattered 😭

I was so excited to purchase this bowl before Christmas for treat making and baking. The primary reason for my purchase was the ability to microwave the bowl. I have been using it for about 6 months with no issues. The other day I took it out of the microwave and set it on the counter. Added additional ingredients to the hot liquid and the bowl shattered. I am heart broken over the loss of my bowl that had become my favorite but also all of the expensive ingredients that were wasted when I had to throw away everything. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything that can be done? I feel like it's false advertising saying that it can be used to heat and mix. I'm very lucky that I didn't get hurt and I was able to get it into a bag fast enough to not have my family members or animals be effected either.

Bowl shattered today while creaming butter
a month ago
Loved the bowl that I bought in December 2024 until today when it shattered while creaming 1 cup of butter. Glass shards everywhere, cut my finger cleaning it up, and no birthday cake frosting. The bowl has never been in the microwave, never been in the dishwasher, never been in the oven and I use the mixer infrequency. Extremely disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Won’t lock!

I bought this bowl for my Classic Plus mixer and it worked well for about a month and now it will not lock in place at all.
