Q: Can you get the four blade for chopping meat in particular that comes with the 9 cup, for the 13 cup food processor or is there an attachment in the 13 cup that will allow you to achieve the same result as this accessory for the 9 cup?

- A: Thank you for your enquiry. The multipurpose four blade is only available with the 9 cup food processor. You can process meat in either food processor. For beef chop meat into 1cm cubes prior to adding to bowl and process for a maximum duration of 10s . The maximum recommended amount for 9 cup 200g beef, and 225g for the 13 cup on high speed.2 years ago

Amazing chopper!

We bought this as we needed a bigger food processor for meal preparation for us and our baby. Slicer is magnificent! Every slice is the same as you would see in a restaurant. Same goes for the chopper!! So good when you are making a salad and seeing every piece is the same size!
What I love even more is how easy it is to clean and store! We have a small kitchen so storing had a big say in this purchase. All in all, so happy!!

Broken Latch

The issue I have is the same as I have read. The latch came off of my 13 c food processor after not much use. My machine was a gift, therefore I have no receipt. All I want to know is how do I repair it? Or what is it going to take to repair it?
The last kitchen aide food processor I had was fabulous. It lasted about 40 yrs. I had to hit the side a bit to get it to run at first but it always worked. It also had a Parmesan cheese blade that I loved and is not available for the new machines. The reason I wanted this one is it shreds cheese finer than the Cuisinart, which overall is a much more dependable machine.
No, I do not recommend this product.
