I ordered this pot for a get-together with friends. I was going to make Jambalaya and wanted all to have something to take home after. After unboxing I realized I may have overestimated the pot size. This thing is pretty big. I made my recipe for Jambalaya and it involved about 5 pounds of meat. This pot easily accommodated that amount. i could have doubled the recipe and had room to spare. I seasoned the pot as required and it worked beautifully. The burner puts off more than enough heat for a pot twice this size. It easily adjusts from low to high and was very stable on the burner stand. The only reason I rated it 4 stars rather than 5 stars was the fact that the stand prevents you from observing the burner as you adjust the heat level. i practically had to get of the floor and look up to see the burner. I highly recommend that Metal Fusion, Inc, the maker of King kooker, reevaluate the stand and try to incorporate viewing holes that can be used from a sitting or standing position. My fix is to drill and few small holes in a close pattern so I can view the burner flame. I will keep the integrity of the stand intact, as this is a very heavy pot, and gets heavier as you add ingredients.
