I'm a big girl (size 16ish) so I struggle to find riding clothes that fit. I've had good luck with the Kerrits tights, though! I have several pairs of the bootcut microcord tights by Kerrits, but when I bought them they didn't have a pocket (and I desperately wanted a pocket). These tights fit well, they're comfortable, and they offer a nice smooth silhouette. The only issue I have with them (and I had the same issue with other XL Kerrits) is that they are way too long. With the bootcut tights I had to have them altered, but these are thin enough that I can fold the extra 2-3 inches of fabric up over my ankle and it doesn't interfere with my boots.

I bought the Kerrits Freestyle Performance Tight and received the riding tight a few weeks ago. They fit well, true to size, and are very comfortable, especially when riding my horse. I highly recommend the Kerrits tight and will be purchasing more tights in the future. And, I love getting the Kerrits seeds.

I have a pair of these tights and the Kerrits Ice Fil Tech Tights, and these are hands down the winner. I'll admit, I have yet to actually ride in these, BUT I've spent a lot of time in the hot Colorado sun in these tights, and I haven't even noticed the heat. My horse isn't currently cleared for riding, so I've been hiking with her (in 70-90 degree, sunny weather) and these tights keep me as comfortable as if I were hiking in shorts. They're really breathable. I've even gotten compliments on them from non-horse people. I'm going to buy another pair or two to get me through the summer. One note on size - I've worn Kerrits pants for years and I've always been a size medium, and the Kerrits pants I still have still fit me in a size medium. A medium in these tights was huge in the waist, and I had to go with a small.
