KBS Coatings NuMetal Epoxy Putty, 1 lb., Grey

KBS NuMetal Epoxy Putty in Grey, 1 lb size, is a two part, hand mixed epoxy putty that bonds, fills, seals, and rebuilds metal, plastic, wood, fiberglass, concrete, and ceramic. Cut equal lengths of the A and B bars, knead them together like clay, and press the putty into place. There is no weighing or measuring, and you cut only what the job needs. NuMetal sticks to damp surfaces, cures fully underwater, and will not shrink or sag on vertical and overhead repairs. It reaches 12,000 psi compressive strength and holds up to 300 F once cured. Use it on cracked water lines and PVC pipe, leaking tanks and drums, fuel and coolant line emergencies, equipment housings, rusted through sheet metal, and broken fittings and handles around the farm, shop, and truck. After about 12 hours it can be drilled, tapped, sanded, and painted like solid stock. Grey blends with concrete, stone, cast iron, and general shop repairs. Made in the USA.Directions: clean the repair area with KBS Klean and rough it up with sandpaper for the best bond. Cut equal lengths of Part A and Part B and knead them together until the color is uniform, at least 2 minutes for a walnut sized piece and 15 minutes for a full pound. Press firmly into place within about 30 minutes, and smooth the surface with wet fingertips before it sets. Mix at 75 F or warmer for predictable results; below 70 F it is stiffer and slower to set, and above 90 F it sets much faster. On metal, coat the cured repair and surrounding area with KBS RustSeal to stop rust from restarting around the patch. Clean tools and hands with warm soapy water right after use. Wear gloves. Stored with Part A and Part B unmixed and sealed in separate bags in a cool, dry place, NuMetal keeps for at least 2 years.
