I purchased 2 heat lamps to use with my newborn puppies and I am very pleased with my purchase! This is the first time that I have used a lamp with the safety cage on it and I feel like it is much safer, since I don't have to worry about accidentally touching the bulb. It keeps the temperature in the whelping box nice and warm. I only use it when I am home and I did add an extra clamp to ensure that it doesn't accidentally fall in with my puppies. I will definitely use this with my future litters.
