Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice unit. It works well for me. I needed one of these. I like it for what I do and there is no mess to clean up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for use with SAND! My "sandblaster" came yesterday and I got a chance to look at it today. Warning on the gun says "Do NOT use any sand of silica based abrasives with this device!" I came back to the page I ordered it from in "Sandblasting equipment" and didn't see anywhere in the specs or ANYWHERE that you can't use sand or silica based abrasives. Thoroughly disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works better than I exected At this low price I thought I was taking a chance with this sandblasting gun but it performed very well in fact better than I expected. It is not meant for large area work but it is perfect for small jobs or craft work like decorative sandblasting on wood or glass. I have used other sandblasting guns before and expected to have to cover myself well (full face mask, gloves, tape my sleeves, etc.) to avoid being covered by the flying particles, but the rubber covers provided with this gun prevent the particles from flying around and kept the mess to a minimum. Also the attached bag eliminates the need for a seperate container to supply the gun with abrasives. It takes a lot of the fuss out of getting ready to sandblast. You can do it in your street clothes, just fill the bag, attach the air compessor and go. Very easy, and at this price if the tip wears out I'll just get a new gun (at about the same price as other gun replacment tips).
